Hearing aids: These tiny devices contain circuit boards, microphones, speakers, and zinc-air or rechargeable batteries. Many audiologists and hearing aid retailers accept old hearing aids for recycling or refurbishment. Some charitable organisations collect hearing aids for redistribution in developing countries.
